I am a Specially Appointed Associate Professor in the Social Robotics Group of The University of Osaka.

My research is about human-safe and robot-efficient algorithms for close-proximity Human-Robot Interaction. The purpose is to guarantee human safety when robots are operating in daily life environments populated with humans while keeping the robot’s efficiency.

I also love to participate in robotics competitions and travelling.
